First Degree Reiki – Victoria

Friday evening is open to anyone curious about reiki and is also for all those already registered for the class. It is an introduction to reiki and to me, Shelley. I will speak of the history of reiki and my journey with reiki. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and to experience reiki. After the introduction those registered will receive the first of four initiations and instruction.

Over the weekend you will learn self treatment, the ‘foundation treatment’ for maintenance and chronic conditions, emergency treatment and how to use reiki in other ways.

You will experience the energy that flows through your body and hands. My stories from over thirty-five years practicing this profound but gentle healing art will inspire you and instil confidence.

We will discuss the reiki principles and you receive the four first degree initiations, themselves healing experiences. At completion you receive a ‘Blue Book’ and certificate issued by the Reiki Alliance.

Just Reiki– Four Day Reiki Intensive on Pender Island

Imagine four days of deep relaxation, every morning giving and receiving reiki in small groups of two or three, in the quiet of Shelley’s home. We begin the day with a short circle and then move to the treatment tables, having opportunity to practise with different people in the small group each day. Afternoons and evenings are free to enjoy in relaxation, exploration of the island, creative projects, or anything you choose. On the final day we enjoy lunch together and are ready for departure by 2:00 PM. I look forward to hosting a small group for this intensive. 2025 Space for Joy Constellation Circles

A constellation circle is a space to resolve deeply held patterns that hold you back from experiencing ease, joy and abundance in life. It is a place to come to know yourself and your ancestors more deeply. It is a place to experience the deep connection we have with one another, our world and with the Great Mystery that connects all.

This circle has been gathering on Pender for many years and is a safe and transformative circle. We meet indoors in a private home during winter months and outdoors in my grassy circle when the weather allows. Please register by contacting me, Shelley, so that you will know of the venue.

Constellation Circle— a Space for Joy, in Vancouver

In a constellation circle we experience movements of love and the challenges and frustrations that relationships can create. We assist one another in discovering loyalties, fears, shame or regret in our past that prevents us from fully embracing life in the present. Through simple words and actions we release these blocks of the past and allow love to flow in the system.

This event offers a safe and supportive space for individuals to share their lives, gain insights, and experience growth. Whether you’re new to constellations or a seasoned practitioner, whether you would like to just observe or you have a challenge you want to resolve, all are welcome to join us in this journey of discovery and joy. Come to this circle to cultivate awareness, respect and connection.

Who is this for?

Constellation work is for you if you feel trapped in your life, if you experience lack of support in any way, if you feel frustration in reaching goals. It is also for you if you want to understand how the world works at a deeper level, want to cultivate empathy and peace.

How is the safe space created?

You will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement when you check in and we will discuss guidelines for sharing only your own experience of the day.

Do I need an issue to resolve in order to benefit from the circle?

No. Every circle I have attended has given me a gift— of insight, compassion, love, support. The gifts are magical and usually something you never knew you needed.

What will the day require of me, physically?

We will be sitting on chairs in a circle and if you choose to be a representative, you will be asked to stand and move about and perhaps be touched or touch another person. As a representative you will also be asked to share about your experience a little bit.

What should I bring?

Please bring water and snacks (to share if you like). Please bring a mug for tea that will be provided. You can bring a lunch or go out. It is usually good to dress in layers as you may become warm or cold depending upon what is happening in the circle.

There is space in the circle for 25 participants. Register early. Refunds will be made up to seven days before the event.

One Day Reiki Gathering

Support your practise of reiki by enjoying a day with others who share your interest and passion. Perhaps you feel you need a ‘refresher’? Or you enjoy reiki and always want more? Sharing reiki in a group is an opportunity to feel and benefit from the field of energy created by a group practising together. The healing benefits are amplified and we learn from one another. We will begin and end the day with a sharing circle and you will have opportunity to both give and receive treatment in small groups, indoors and outdoors as the day dictates.

There will be facilities for shared potluck lunch. Please bring food to share. Tea and dishes and cutlery will be provided.

Second Degree Reiki

Second Degree in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki is an opportunity to deepen reiki practise and the healing that reiki brings to your life. We discover the rich use of symbols to enhance the practice and how to focus reiki in different ways, for example for mental clearing or for distant treatment. During this time of social distancing my distant reiki practice has become a much larger part of my life than previously. I have been witness to many ‘miracles’ of connection, providing insight into this web of energy that flows between us. Second Degree Reiki enables a deepening of this awareness.

Reiki: Online Introduction or Refresh

Some connection, with reiki, with me. Ask questions and begin the practice. This is an opportunity for you to become acquainted with me and with the practice of reiki in an online forum. It could also be a wonderful refresher for anyone who feels they have ‘lost touch’ with reiki practice. In the first forty minute session, we will introduce ourselves and you will have a chance to express your questions. I will talk about reiki, my relationship with it and my experience of it in my life. In the second forty minute session I will demonstrate a self treatment as you follow along. This is usually a relaxing and nourishing experience. You will be able to ask questions or make comments as needed. The two sessions will be held consecutively, on one afternoon or evening with only a short break between. You will require a device such as computer, tablet or phone to log into Zoom for the sessions. I would also suggest to have a comfortable seat or lay on a bed or sofa and have water available. Anyone who registers for one of these sessions will be given a $30 discount on the next reiki class they register for with me.
